Are you ready to take on the Isle of Wight?

Test your speed, strength and stamina on this awesome three-activity challenge for a charity of your choice. We dare you, in teams of four, to hike, bike and canoe your way across the stunning Isle of Wight, home to some of the UK’s most beautiful coast lines.

Nothing says teamwork like coming together to trek the Tennyson Trail, cycle 44 miles around an island famous for its Jurassic ancestors and canoe a course on the River Medina – without throwing each other overboard!

Rising with the sun, you’ll kick off from Newport in the heart of the island for a stunning 25-mile cycle to your first check point.

Hopping off your bikes, you’ll have exquisite views of the world-famous sand cliffs, the Needles; but there’s no standing around, as you pull on your hiking boots and set off along the wonderful Tennyson Trail for your 12-mile trekking stretch. This scenic, circular route takes you through the forest and along the coast, rewarding you with fabulous panoramas and photo opportunities.

Arriving back at our check-in base, you reunite with your bikes and pedal a final 19 miles along country roads, all the way to the River Medina.

It’s the last push now and you end the epic day in Canadian canoes, paddling approx. 1.9 miles to the finish line. (No equipment or experience necessary – we provide everything you need, including experienced canoeing guides, ready to help you out at the drop of a paddle.)

Support your favourite charity…
The best part about the Isle of Wight Challenge 2020 is that you do this all for the charity of your choice.

You can self fund your challenge costs and then fundraise as much as you can (or make a donation) for your team’s chosen charity.

You can also choose to commit to a minimum sponsorship target per team, whereby your chosen charity would fund your challenge costs, providing you raise a minimum of £1,000 (per team) by six weeks before the challenge. It’s completely up to you.
