Technology meets brand power in the fitness industry
FIBO further extends it modern fitness technology ranges in 2020 and to this end has enlisted the competence of the FitTech Summit. On 2 and 3 April the FitTech Summit by Hubert Burda Media will present insights from the FitTech industry on stage and project the future of fitness. This journey through the health and optimisation movement using technology innovation will focus not only on facts and forecasts from the sector. Also featuring on the agenda will be the factors that really move people on their way to physical fitness: mindset + motivation, prevention, performance and regeneration.
FitTech Summit: FIBO Edition
The speakers’ list includes, among others, co-founder and CEO of Urban Sports Club Benjamin Roth, who will explain how to motivate new members and keep existing members’ thrilled. Dr. Lutz Graumann, founder of Quaduma, team physician of the German Ice-hockey League and expert in regeneration techniques shares methods to perfect muscle regeneration and improve training effects. Even “Fitness Content Pope” Mason Bendewalt from the USA, will take part. He is the mastermind of the successful coaching programme P90X and advises FitTech start-ups such as Tonal on content. In his keynote “Connect the Unexpected” he will show to what extent Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence will shape the future of fitness – and highlight the decisive role man will play here. Other speakers are Simon Sollberger – co-founder of Pear Sports (San Francisco), Christian Dörffer – co-founder of MyCrew, general partner & co-founder of Sweet Capital (London) and Thomas Kulcsar – Investment Manager at Burda Principal Investments (London).
As already in 2018 and 2019, the team will not only stage the most relevant future fitness themes at FIBO 2020 in Cologne but also bring together the key decision-makers in the industry. “We provide the ideal setting for extending your own network and brushing up your knowledge in the field of fitness technologies. The lecture programme of the “FitTech Summit: FIBO Edition” will be embedded into the new concept of FIBO Hall 5.1, which will become the Future Hall in 2020 placing innovations and start-ups centre stage. “We have invested in a high-quality programme here,” delights FIBO boss Silke Frank commenting on the cooperation and adds: “Together with the organisers of the FitTech Summit we can therefore contribute to the further development of our industry for which technological innovations are becoming increasingly important.”
