Lush – The Greeench Deodorant Powder
The bottle itself is a great size, it is 75g which means it would be perfect for hand-luggage travel. Being Lush made, the bottle is made from 100% recycled plastic. It has a slight green tint to the powder, hence being called ‘The Greeench’; it reminded me of The Grinch, maybe this would be a good choice of deodorant for him…
The first impression I had of the smell, was a fresh, tea-tree oil aroma. I personally love the smell of tea-tree as the majority of beauty/skincare products I use are tea-tree oil-based. However, some others may feel this smell is too overwhelming; that is down to personal choice.
The powder is smooth and does not have any large lumps when first dropped from the bottle. Once applied to the arm-pit or chosen area, the powder does not fall anywhere, which I was expecting to happen, but was pleasantly surprised.
After placing The Greeench Deodorant Powder on at 8.00am in the morning, I put a good amount over my arm-pits. Throughout the day, it managed to stay on very well. However, by the time I reached 7.00pm, I had to re-apply this powder before going to the gym to make sure I did not show sweat. After the gym, however, my arm-pits still smelt fresh and it absorbed nicely. When showering it off, it came off easily and was ready to apply again after my shower.
Rating 5/5 – Will be great to use for the Summertime for quick sweat fixes!

Weleda – Wild Rose Cream Bath
The bottle is 100ml, which is quite small for bath creams. As if you are someone like me, I like to use just a slight bit more for my bath, just because.
The ingredients include organic wild rose oil as well as a creamy base of olive and jojoba oils. The main smells that got through though were the wild rose aromas. For me personally, I would not choose these particular smells, just because they can be overwhelming. However, in the bath, it diffused with the hot steamy water and was tolerable and found them quite relaxing.
The cream itself was just like any other cream. But it wasn’t too runny or too thick so was just right. In the bath, it mixed with the water nicely so didn’t clump at the bottom – which some bath creams do.
After getting out of the bath, my skin felt a lot softer. After going through the harsh dry winter, it is nice to get in a bath and feel slightly moisturised when you get out. Perfect for a bath just after a session at the gym, so you can feel fresh and soft after an intense workout.
Rating 3/5 – The bottle could be slightly bigger to be worth its value in money but an overall good product.

Weleda – Citrus Deodorant
The first impression I received when opening the packaging to this product was that it looked to me, like a room spray. I had to take a double-look at the label on the packaging to check if it definitely was deodorant. In terms of the packaging, it is very simple but it doesn’t have to be spectacular; it is what is inside that counts. The size is 100ml, so again perfect size for hand-luggage and travelling.
The ingredients within are essential oils lemon and Litsea Cubeba. I personally would never choose this particular smell when purchasing deodorant but I absolutely love it. It has such a refreshing aroma, perfect for getting rid of hard odours.
This particular deodorant is different from many types of spray deodorant. This is because it is more like a perfume in terms of consistency; as opposed to most aluminium sprays which have that harsh thicker, dissolving feeling. Which on many occasions, leaves white marks (despite the packaging informing otherwise).
I put this deodorant on at the beginning of the day, and I must say it lasted all day. Even with a short 15-minute workout, I could still smell the citrus oils and it had seemed to absorb the sweat well. This Weleda deodorant can not only be used as a deodorant in high-sweat places, but it can also be used as a perfume to spritz on your neck and wrists for a fresh feeling.
Rating 5/5 – Fresh, multi-purpose deodorant.

Weleda – Pomegranate 24h Roll-On Deodorant
In terms of packaging, this roll-on deodorant is standard to others. I particularly liked the chosen red for the sticker around the bottle. I did, however, think it was going to be a tomato fragrance, just because of the colour. This bottle is 50ml, which is also standard for a roll-on, as companies tend not to put more than this in their products.
This smell was extremely fresh, similar to the Citrus Spray Deodorant. It had an extremely nice fruity smell, which wasn’t too overpowering. But just enough to feel and smell fresh all day.
As it being natural and containing non-aluminium salts, it did not feel harsh on my underarms and the consistency of the product managed to last the majority of the day.
After testing this product for a duration of 24 hours, including taking a long-walk throughout the day, I had to put this product on twice during this period of time. Like most of the other products also tested, it needed to be reapplied as I was involved in an activity other than just general duties. However, if one was to just take part in low-energy activities, one application of this roll-on would suffice.
Rating 4/5 – Needed to be reapplied twice in one day, however, smells great.
