Gympass joins forces with Wexer to Launch Gympass Plus: Hundreds of On-Demand Workouts for Operator Partners

Everyone Active first UK Gympass partner to roll out offer to entire membership base

Gympass, leader in corporate fitness sales, has launched Gympass Plus, which includes an on-demand platform powered by Wexer, to offer all 2.2k Gympass operator partners access to more than 500 workouts from 18 content providers including Zumba and Gaiam.

“We recognise that creating or hosting online classes may be difficult for some of our operator partners,” says Eamon Lloyd, Senior Director – Head of Partnerships for UK&IE at Gympass. “Our partnership with Wexer is an opportunity for us to give them access to great content to help keep their members active and loyal to their brand. While this solution is especially impactful now when members can’t physically be in the gym, Gympass Plus is part of a long-term plan to help our operator partners engage with members whether they want to workout in the gym or at home and our partnership with Wexer forms an exciting part of the Gympass Plus offering.”

Everyone Active became the first UK partner to extend Gympass Plus to their members following the recent closure of their 190+ clubs across the country in line with government guidance related to COVID-19.

“We’ve always valued our partnership with Gympass but the support we’ve received over the last few weeks is testament to what a superior partner they are,” says Duncan Jefford, Regional Director, Everyone Active. “Gympass Plus has played a crucial role in helping us stay connected with our members during this time. The on-demand workouts in Gympass Plus allows us to provide an unrivalled total offering for Everyone Active members, now and into the future.”

Accessing the On Demand Workouts powered by Gympass Plus is extremely simple for members. Gympass members simply need to sign in using an access code provided by their gym or studio. People can then search by duration, type or content provider, mark their favourites and track their workout activity.

“Equipping leisure operators with more ways to keep people engaged and physically active is more important right now than ever before,” continues Lloyd. “We’re confident that Gympass Plus will help them fulfil the exercise needs of their members while monetising their efforts.”
